DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Fire Prevention Day by learning to safely start a fire with flint and steel. \n\n\nWhat to expect\n\nA guided introduction to safe fire-starting with flint and steel\nFire safety and prevention at the Campground Amphitheater\n\n\n\nBefore you go\n\nFriday\, October 9\, 3:15–4 p.m.\nMeet at Campground Amphitheater\nNon-campers: park in the main marina lot\, walk past the General’s Store\, and cross the footbridge\n\n\n\nProgram information\nThe program is free; standard park entry fees apply. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is recommended but not required. One registration per family or group is sufficient. \nPark address: 2750 Sweden Point Road\, Marbury\, MD 20658. Discovery Center visitor hours for October are Thursday–Sunday\, 1–3 p.m.; individual program times are listed above. \nDress for the weather and activity\, bring water\, and check the park’s updates before your visit.
