Who We Are
Voice of Indian Head is a nonprofit project launched by residents of Indian Head, Maryland, to invest in and strengthen our town. Our goal is to grow that sense of “we”—a strong, inclusive, and vibrant community where neighbors work together for better.
We operate as a Component Fund of Chesapeake Charities, part of the Community Foundation of Southern Maryland portfolio. This structure allows us to channel investment into our town, raise awareness of local initiatives, and amplify causes and events that matter to our community.
We give Voice to residents and local organizations by amplifying their efforts, celebrating achievements, and sparking action for the initiatives our town still urgently needs.
As a Component Fund within Chesapeake Charities, donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Please consult your financial advisor for details. Chesapeake Charities is designated by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

MIssion Statement
Voice of Indian Head supports and strengthens the Town of Indian Head and surrounding communities in Charles County, Maryland, through a portfolio of charitable giving aligned with our Core Values, and by giving Voice to the community through information sharing and civil discourse.
Vision Statement
Through our investments and activities, Voice of Indian Head helps weave a strong small-town community fabric—one that sets the standard for Charles County and Maryland at large in inclusion, civic engagement, shared values, and charitable involvement.
