Community School Coordinator Marissa Ackerman—Voice of Indian Head’s 2025 Community Champion of the Year—has helped build a sustainable school pantry network that serves at least 100 people during biweekly openings and provides 110 weekend snack sacks for children each Friday. Her work emphasizes quality food, confidentiality, and respect for every family.
